ShieldGuardis operated by Runaway Media Group FZCO (“we”, “us”). By using ShieldGuard, you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, not to hide things — if anything is unclear, email support@tryshieldguard.com.
What ShieldGuard is — and is not
ShieldGuard gives informational guidanceto help you spot likely scams. It is not a guarantee, and no tool catches every scam. A “looks safe” result does not make a message safe, and a “likely scam” result is our best analysis, not an accusation. ShieldGuard is not legal, financial, or professional advice. When money or personal information is involved, slow down and confirm directly with the company or person through contact details you already know are real.
Free and paid plans
Everyone gets 5 free checks per day, no sign-up needed. Paid plans are: Individual $8.99 per month; Individual $49 per year; Family $79 per year covering up to 4 households via invite links. Prices are in US dollars.
- Automatic renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Cancelling is easy.Use the “Manage subscription” link in any Stripe receipt email, or email support@tryshieldguard.com and we will cancel for you. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds. If you are unhappy for any reason, email us within 30 days of a charge and we will refund it in full.
Family plan invite links
A Family plan includes invite links for up to 3 additional households. Each link is for one person — please share them only with the family members you intend to cover.
Fair use
The service is for personal use checking messages you have received. Please do not attempt to abuse, overload, resell, or reverse-engineer the service, and do not submit content that is illegal for you to share. We may limit or suspend use that harms the service or other users.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShieldGuard and its operator are not liable for losses arising from decisions made in reliance on a verdict, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, except where the law of the place you live gives you protections that cannot be waived — those always apply.
Changes
If we change these terms, we will update this page and its effective date. Meaningful changes will be announced by email to subscribers before they take effect.
